SHARE DEATH: LOWELL G. ANDERSON

Our loving husband, father, grandfather, Lowell Gary Anderson died January 9, 1997 at home surrounded by family.

Lowell was born March 30, 1927 to Aldon and Minnie Anderson and grew up on Capitol Hill, graduated from U of U, and fulfilled a mission to France. He married Miriam Frost, August 28, 1953 in the Salt Lake Temple.Lowell had an avid love of reading, volleyball, racquetball and anything French, but all paled in comparison to the love for his wife. He was a faithful member of the LDS Church serving in many callings, but teaching was his favorite. Among his many interests, he enjoyed directing roadshows, being President of the International Visitors Council and (to his children) King of the Cowboys.

He is loved by his wife; Miriam Frost, children; Mike (Melanie), Cherie (Paul) Broadwater, Rob (Betsy), and Matthew, and his sisters; Elaine Cannon and Nadine Cook and his 12 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Stephen, infant daughter, Aimee, and brother, Judge Aldon Anderson.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, January 13, 12 noon, at the Monument Park 1st Ward, 1005 South 2000 East (due to remodeling of his home ward). Friends may call Sunday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Larkin Sunset Lawn, 2350 East 1300 South and Monday, 11 a.m. at the ward. Interment at the Salt Lake City Cemetery.
