Eduvigio Gonzales, 78, beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away January 9, 1997.
Born June 9, 1919 in Vadito, New Mexico to Jesse and Demusia Lopez Gonzales. Married Erminia Gurule in Vadito, New Mexico on August 22, 1951. Eddie was a member of the Catholic Church and worked for Kennecott Copper for 35 years. He loved life, to walk, sports, playing cards and reading. He was known for his sense of humor and loved his grandkids. Eddie will be missed by all who knew him.Survivors: wife, Erminia, Midvale; children, Norma (Daniel), Larry, Billy, Annette (Andy) and Ruth; grandchildren, Louie, Eddie (Marcie), Chris, Valerie, Billy Jr., Evette, Larry Jr., Phylicia, Maxine, Albert; great grandchildren, Eddie, Eliseo, Carlos; sisters, Gloria and Priscilla; Preceded in death by daughter, Joan; parents; one grandson; one brother and one sister; one nephew.
Funeral Mass Monday, January 13, 1997 at 10 a.m. in St. Therese Catholic Church 75 E. Lennox St., Midvale. Rosary and Vigil Service Sunday, January 12, 1997 at 7 p.m. Friends may call at the church on Sunday from 6-7 p.m.Interment, Midvale City Cemetery.
