A road worker sweeps up the mess left after a pickup struck a telephone pole early Thursday at 600 East and 7200 South. Two cars trailing the truck were unable to stop and slammed into the wreckage. There were no injuries, but a section of the road was closed while the 7:15 a.m. accident was being investigated.
