A public discussion of Utah's wildlife policies is scheduled Tuesday, Jan. 14, at 7 p.m. at the First Unitarian Church Meeting Hall, 569 S. 1300 East. Participants will focus on state policies as they relate to predator and prey balances, wildlife preservation and bio-politics.
Meeting participants include Ted Stewart, director of the Utah Department of Natural Resources; Rick Danvir, a member of Utah's Wildlife Board; Hartt Wixom, an outdoor writer; and Margaret Pettis, a wildlife activists.The discussion is part of a series of monthly forums organized by the Wasatch Front Forum to discuss historical, legal and social issues facing public-land managers and local governments.
