On Sunday, January 19, 1997, Delpha R. Thomson, age 92, passed away at Hill Haven Nursing Home.

She was born May 2, 1904, the fourth of thirteen children born to William T. and Jenny Maud Reynolds of Pima, Arizona. She is survived by Rhoda Ford (sister) of Springville, Utah, and Reed Reynolds (brother) of Spanish Fork, Utah.She was married to Nephi C. Thomason with whom she had a daughter, Barbara T. Burningham of Bountiful and one step-daughter, Bernice Eades of Prinville, Oregon, and also four grandchildren.

Delpha moved to Bountiful in 1937 where she served in the Primary, Relief Society and was a visiting teacher for many years. Delpha was also a member of The Daughters of Utah Pioneers. She worked the school lunch program at Bountiful High for 15 years. Delpha spent many years in geneology research. She loved going to the temple, and visited every temple in the United States that was built before 1984.

Delpha lived at 915 South Orchard Drive for 39 years where she kept up a huge yard with flowers, fruits and vegetables that she willingly shared with family, friends and neighbors.

Funeral services for Delpha will be held Tuesday, Jan. 21, 1997 at 1 p.m. at the Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main. Friends may call at the mortuary from 11:45 - 12:45 prior to services. Interment-Salt Lake City Cemetery
