The Republic of Palau, a former U.S.-administered trust territory in the western Pacific, recently issued a set of stamps with an unusual title: "Oddities of the Air: Weird and Wonderful Designs." The stamps feature aircraft designs that were mainly experimental. All the stamps in the set are airmails.
