Florence Eva Young began life on October 17, 1911 in Colorado Springs, CO. She was the youngest daughter of William H. Michaels and Myrtle Keep. She left us on January 19, 1997 to be with her beloved Frank and to begin her eternal life.
Frank preceded her in death on July 14, 1995. They were married on June 17, 1927 and would have celebrated 70 years together this coming June. They served a mission in Long Beach, CA, 1977-80.Her survivors are: Frank G., II of Salt Lake City; William H. of Albany, OR; Joyce E. Grimnes of Wheeler, OR; Candace Birch of Capt. Cook, Hawaii; 16 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Shirley Ann Pepper and two grandsons, Scott Pepper and Kacy Godard.
She was a great mom and grandmother, and will be missed by all her family and friends.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 25, 1997, at 1 p.m. at the 12th LDS Ward Chapel, 630 East 100 South. Friends may call Friday evening from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Larkin Mortuary, 260 E. South Temple, and at the church Saturday, one hour prior to the service. Interment: Salt Lake City Cemetery.
