City Hall isn't even 3 years old, but the City Council is already making sure it has room for expansion. With the city growing rapidly, the council has approved the purchase of 5.8 acres just south of City Hall.
The city approved the the purchase of the land from the Holbrook family for $184,000. It isn't earmarked for a specific purpose yet - city leaders just don't want to be landlocked. The land could end up being used for a library, a post office or another similar purpose, giving the city options for the future.
