SHARE BANKER TO RETIRE AFTER 25 YEARS IN THE INDUSTRY

Gaynell Majors Mackey, a personal banker/loan officer, will retire from Zions Bank in February after a 25-year career in the banking industry.

An open house will be held for her on Friday, Feb. 14, from 1-4 p.m. at Zions Bank Provo Region office at 111 North 200 West in Provo. The public is invited.She began her career at Zions Bank in 1972 as a teller and subsequently held such positions as flooring manager, loan adjuster, collections supervisor, loan interviewer, customer service officer and operations officer.

Mackey was named a loan officer in 1993 and was promoted to assistant vice president in 1994. She was appointed to her current job in 1995. Mackey also has been involved in the Exchange Club, Utah Bankers Association and Professional Women in Banking.
