DEATH: NINA WORTHEN ALLRED ELIASON

Our beloved mother, stepmother, grandmother, and great grandmother, returned home to her Heavenly Father on January 29, 1997 after a courageous battle against cancer.

Born July 30, 1915 in Hurricane, Utah to George and Chloe Sanders Worthen. Married her sweetheart Ned M. Allred on June 29, 1936 in Cedar City, Utah, later sealed for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake Temple. Ned passed away on December 20, 1967. Mom later met and married Lourae James Eliason on November 1, 1969.Mom was an active member of the LDS Church serving in many positions. Graduated from the Agriculture College of Southern Utah. Mom loved Hawaii and has many wonderful memories of spending time there with Lou, family and friends. Mom and Lou also loved to square dance. Lou passed away on February 2, 1982. Mom traveled to many parts of the world and loved cruising the Caribbean Islands. She was a source of strength and inspiration to her family and friends and a great example of a loving mother and grandmother.

She is survived by three children, Lila (David) Pringle, Duane (Leann) Allred, Susan Harris. Also survived by three step-children Dr. Richard ( Barbara) Eliason, Ron (Marcia) Eliason, Linda Ford. 25 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Monday, Feb. 3, 1997 at 12 noon at the Stratford East Ward, 2605 South 1500 East, where friends may call Sunday evening at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East So. Temple, 6- 8 p.m. and at the ward one hour prior to services.

In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions to the American Cancer Society.
