William E. (Bill) Kuhn, age 75, died at home on January 3, 1997.
Born in Salt Lake City to Rudolph and Julia Niklas Kuhn. Married Glenda Linschoten August 21, 1943 in New Orleans, LA.He is survived by his loving wife, Glenda; beloved daughter, Petrea; dear sons, David, Eldon, and a special son, Robert Capener; one sister, Florence Anderson, San Jose, CA; a dear sister-in-law, Marjory Kuhn, Severna Park, MD; many nephews and nieces, and his faithful animal companion, Brandy. He was preceded in death by an infant son, Billy, Jr.
Bill was a loving, thoughtful and compassionate Christian in every way. He served six years in the Navy in World War II and is a heroic survivor of Pearl Harbor. He worked for the Salt Lake Police Dept. for 25 years. At retirement, he served 10 years in the office of the Treasury Credit Union.
Bill has requested cremation. A memorial service to honor his life will be held Saturday, January 11, 1997, at 2 p.m. at Russon Brothers Mortuary Chapel, 225 South 200 East, Salt Lake City.
He will be deeply mourned by all who knew and love him.
