Utah Realtors elect leader

Nancy Davis, broker/owner of Nancy Davis and Associates Real Estate, Logan, has been elected president of the Utah Association of Realtors. She replaces Georgia Ball.

Other officers are Edward A. Tugaw, a broker and owner/president of Coldwell Banker Tugaw Real-tors, Brigham City, president-elect, and John Harr Jr., a broker/owner of ERA Mountain Land Realty, Pleasant Grove.Davis has served as director of the Cache/Rich Chamber of Commerce for the past four years and is the past director and president of the Cache/Rich Association of Realtors. She also has been president of the Logan Chapter of Business and Professional Women and been governor of the National Women's Council of Realtors.

Named Realtor of the Year by the group during its annual convention in San Diego was Richard C. Bennion, broker/owner with Commerce Properties, who was cited for his high regard of ethics in the real estate profession. He is an active member of the Salt Lake Board of Realtors.

David W. Johnson, a real estate broker and attorney, was named edu-cator of the year for outstanding service and leadership for his contributions to real estate education.

Al Mansell, chairman of the board of Mansell and Associates Inc., was named the Realtor active in politics for his participation in the political arena. He is a Republican senator representing District 10.

Ball selected Vardell Curtis, executive vice president of the Washington County Board of Realtors, and Carol Richman, executive officer of the Iron County Board of Realtors, to receive the President's Awards for their unselfish service to the state association.
