Death: Ann M. Bodkin

Ann M. Bodkin, 82, of Salt Lake City, passed away September 30, 1997 with dignity and courage after a battle with cancer.

She was born July 24, 1915 in Superior, Wyoming to Nickoles and Maria Moser. She served in the Women's Army Corps during World War II and moved to Salt Lake City after her discharge in 1945. Met and married her husband of 45 years, Edward P. Bodkin of Salt Lake City, who preceded her in death. She was a long time parishioner and active member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church and was recently a parishioner of St. Vincent's Catholic Church.Her family was everything to her. She will be missed by her daughter, Terri Robison and son, Richard (Lorraine) Bodkin, both of Salt Lake City; five grandchildren, and one great-grandchild; sisters, Ellen (Tony) Buh of Salt Lake City; and Rena Tarter of Rock Springs, WY; brothers, Gene (Liz) Moser of Rock Springs, WY; Carl (Mary Lou) Moser of Star Valley, WY; Jack (Pearl) Moser of Colorado; and Paul (Isabelle) Moser of California. She was also preceded in death by her parents and two sisters.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ann's name to the St. Vincent Landscaping Fund, 1375 E. Spring Lane, SLC, UT 84117.

A funeral mass will be celebrated Saturday, 11 a.m., at St. Vincent's Catholic Church, 1375 E. Spring Lane (5000 South). A vigil service will be held Friday, at 7 p.m. also at the church, where friends may call form 6-7 p.m. Committal, Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery, 4th Ave and T Street. Funeral directors, Neil O'Donnell & Sons.

May her soul rest in peace and perpetual light shine upon her.
