Death: Jack Peck

Jack E. Peck, 70, American Fork, died Wednesday, October 8, 1997 at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center.

He was born September 9, 1927 in Fork, Utah to John Stock and Hannah Calletti Singleton Peck. He was married to Dorothy May Groves in 1948 and she died December 25, 1960. Married Florence Miller Hardman in 1965 and she died March 18, 1970. He married Norma Madge Black on March 17, 1972 in Reno, Nevada.He enjoyed gardening, fishing, hunting and was always willing to help a neighbor and a friend with anything. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

He is survived by his wife of American Fork; two sons, Jack E. Jr. (DeAnn) Peck, Orem; Dan G. (Kathy) Peck, Pleasant Grove; two daughters, Jill (Roger) Davis and Peggy (Mike) Butler, both of Salt Lake City; step-children, Wayne (Linda) Hardman, Bennion, UT; Colleen (Gary) Turner, Lehi; Norman (Nona) Hinkins, Central Valley, UT; Cathy Abbott, American Fork; Judy (Quint) Larsen, Highland; numerous grand and great-grandchildren; one sister, Reva Peck Vacher, American Fork. Preceded in death by four brothers, Tom, Glen, N.S., and Max Peck; two sisters, Ruby Gerber and LaVerne Peck.

Funeral services will be held Monday, October 13, 1997 at 2 p.m. in the American Fork 9th Ward Chapel, 673 E. 300 No., American Fork. Friends may call at the Wing Mortuary Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m. and at the church Monday one hour prior to services. Burial in the American Fork City Cemetery.
