The focal point of so many of our lives as a son, brother and one-of-a-kind friend, the"HAP-ster" passed away in his sleep of a sudden heart attack on Thursday, Oct. 9, 1995.
Hap was born August 20, 1952 in Salt Lake City. All of his 45 years Hap moved in a wide variety of circles, making many friends. Each relationship was "up front and personal" Each one unique with everyone he came in contact with. His business successes afforded him the opportunity to help other people--AND HE DID!
Hap is survived by his mother, Helen Russell; sister and brother-in-law, Toni and Craig Carter. He was preceded in death by his father, Al Russell, Jr. Hap leaves behind friends too numerous to mention, but nonetheless appreciated.
Hap was "one-in-a-million!" He finally used up all his "fun chips!"
GOD Watched you as you struggled and He knew you'd had your share. He gently closed your weary eyes and took you in His care. Your enormous heart stopped beating, putting hard working hands to rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the BEST!
Hap shall be dearly missed by all who loved him.
