Re-election expected of Cameroon leader

One day before presidential elections, many people in this capital Saturday were preparing for the almost certain re-election of President Paul Biya.

The three main opposition parties have already announced that they are boycotting today's vote, angry with Biya for refusing to allow an independent commission to oversee balloting. They have also threatened to disrupt the voting.Biya, who has been in office for 15 years, is facing eight challengers.
