Death: G. Faye Goodey Hausman

Faye Goodey Hausman left this life surrounded by her loved ones on October 9, 1997 after a lifelong battle with Lupus and a short battle with cancer.

Faye was born May 30, 1926 to Jacob Franklin and Grace Elizabeth Netcher Jensen in Richmond, Utah. She married Leo Archie Goodey on June 8, 1943 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple October 22, 1943. He died August 25, 1969. She later married Herbert E. Hausman on April 23, 1979. He died June 8, 1988. Faye worked for 31 years for the J.C. Penney company. She was an active member of the LDS Church. She was a member of the Lady Elks and was president in 1991-92 of the Lady Elks. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and "grandma-great", sister, aunt and friend. We will all miss you, Mom!She is survived by her two daughters, Wendy (David) Boone and Lorna (Randy) Jones; seven grandchildren, Randy (Theresa) Steadman, Kenny Steadman, Gina Boone, Richelle (Brandon) Robinson, Ricky Boone, Jennifer (Karl) Francis and Brian Jones; her pride and joy, great-grandchildren, Seazen, Celeste, Andrew, Aaron, and Blake; brother, Gary (Florene) Jensen, and many loving in-laws, nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husbands, two sons, Randy and Tony, her parents, and three brothers, Frankie, Clifford, and Dale Jensen.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, October 14, 1997 at 11 a.m. in the Crosspoint Ward Chapel, 1325 West 5550 South. Friends may call Monday, October 13, 1997 from 6-8 p.m. at Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 South Redwood Road, and one hour prior to services at the church. Burial will be at the Smithfield Cemetery, Smithfield, Utah with a graveside service at 3 p.m.
