Death: Erma F. Lundquist

Erma Funk Lundquist, 86, died October 9, 1997 in Sandy, Utah.

Born October 19, 1910 in Trenton, Utah to William Jacob and Naomi Roxanna Holman Funk. Married Harold Edwin Lundquist on November 8, 1930. Member of the LDS Church. Served in many positions, including Primary President; served with her husband as Labor Missionaries in Hawaii (1956-1959) in the construction of the Hawaii Campus of BYU. She dearly loved the Polynesian people and their music. Devoted to her family and loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her life's journey took a delay enroute three years ago after which she fought a courageous and valiant battle against a paralytic disease. During her illness, she blessed the lives of many individuals through their service to her.Survived by son, Richard R. Lundquist (Evelyn); daughter, Bonnie Hunley (Michael); six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and sister, Inid Reese. Preceded in death by her husband in 1979; and son, Edwin R. Lundquist in 1955.

Funeral services Monday, Oct. 13, 1997, at 11 a.m. in the Union 17th Ward (Telford Way Chapel), 1834 Creek Road, Sandy, Utah, where friends may call from 9:30-10:50 a.m. Interment, Forest Lawn Memorial Park-Hollywood Hills, Los Angeles, Calif.
