Death: Bonnie LaVon (Greaves) "Granny" Biediger

"The wind blows hardest on the tallest trees"

Our special wife, mother, Granny and friend. Found peace in heaven on October 12, 1997 surrounded by her family.The last years of her life, she fought a courageous battle with multiple sclerosis and cancer.

Born April 10, 1934 in Provo, Utah to Robert Vernon and Della Karren Andreasen Greaves. Bonnie shared her life with her adoring husband, Douglas O. Biediger; her children and grandchildren, who loved her dearly.

She enjoyed dancing, giving and seeing happiness in others.

She is survived by her husband; children, Kathy (Marty) Hoelscher, Carrie (Bryan) Harrison, Cindy (Rick) Long, Barry (Joan) Biediger; grandchildren, Andrea (Carlos) Saravia, Mickey and Tyler Hoelscher, Ryan Cartie and Holly Harrison, Crystal (Jon) Mann, Gina, Rick, Jason and Justus Long, Janis (Russell) Walker; sister, Barbara Hendricksen; brothers, Delbert (Irene) Greaves, Jim Greaves; sister-in-law, Donna; and precious Tiny. Preceded in death by son, Michael; sister, Verna Buys; brothers, Gaylen and Robert Greaves.

A special thanks to Dr. Reilly, and his wonderful nurse, Cara; Dr. Robert Satovick, Superior HOme Care and Vista Care Hospice.

A funeral mass will be celebrated Thursday, 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 2840 South 9000 West, Magna. A vigil service will be held Wednesday, 7 p.m. at the Neil O'Donnell & Sons Mortuary, 372 East 100 South, where friends may call 6-7 p.m. All are welcome to attend Committal, Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery, 4th Ave & T Street.
