Death: Lawrence (Bud) Everitt Prevost

Lawrence Everitt Prevost, age 74, died Monday, October 13, 1997 at the Crestview Care Center in Provo.

He was born February 2, 1923 in Hancock, Maryland to Lawrence C and Christianna Everitt Prevost. He married Lorna Beth Ahlstrom August 5, 1943 in Salt Lake. Their marriage was solemnized April 13, 1957 in the Manti Temple.He was a member of the LDS Church. He worked for Geneva Steel, Grow Investment, Utah Savings & Loan, and Daw Incorporated.

Bud enjoyed fishing, hunting, and camping with his family. He bowled for many years. Bud thoroughly enjoyed all sports. He served in the Army Air Force during World War II.

Survivors include his wife of Orem, two daughters, Beverly (Ronald) Eldredge of Portland, Oregon, Linda (the late Douglas) Tripp of Orem, two sons, Lawrence (Bud) of Orem, and Keith (Carol) of South Jordan, 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and also two brothers and a sister, Howard C of Berkley Springs, West Virginia, James A of Dover, Delaware, Catherine Long of Hagerstown, Maryland. He was preceded in death by a brother Wilbur.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 16, 1997, at 11 a.m. at the Cherry Hill 4th Ward Chapel, 1650 South 200 East in Orem. Friends may call Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Sundberg-Olpin Mortuary, 495 South State St. in Orem and also Thursday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the ward chapel. Interment will be in the Eastlawn Memorial Hills Cemetery.
