Co-defendant in suit wants statements about Jones

A co-defendant in Paula Jones' sexual harassment lawsuit against President Clinton wants the son of one of her former employers to give a sworn statement in the case.

Pressured by women's groups, Clinton's lawyers abandoned plans to target Jones' sex life as part of his defense against her claim that he propositioned her six years ago.But lawyers for co-defendant Danny Ferguson, Clinton's former bodyguard, have subpoenaed a half-dozen people including former boyfriends and a former employer to talk about Jones.

That includes Bryan Hunt, son of the owner of J.B. Hunt Transport Services Inc., who was to give a deposition Thursday.
