Death: Julius Spigarelli Jr.

We lost our loving husband, wonderful father and grandpa, Julius Spigarelli Jr., on October 15, 1997 at his home.

He was born January 13, 1923 in Helper, Utah, to Julius and Dollie Marchello Spigarelli Sr. Married Ann Jumper, September 14, 1948 in Price. Lifelong resident of Carbon County and graduate of Carbon High School. Served US Navy during World War II. "Spigs" was a machine shop instructor at CEU for 17 years and worked as a supervisor for Utah Power & Light for 17 years at Huntington Power Plant. Member Price Elk's #1550, where he served on the board of trustees and two terms as exalted ruler. Instructed gun safety with his dear friend, Lyle Mower, for over 25 years. Member of the Helper Gun Club. "Spigs" traveled the United States with his special friends, trap shooting, and was a skilled gun smith. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his sons and looked forward to spending time at his cabin in Joe's Valley. He will be dearly missed by his family, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.Survived by wife, Ann Spigarelli, Price; one daughter, five sons, and their spouses: Steve and Jackie Butkovich, Kim and Judy Spigarelli, Robert and Karen Spigarelli, Gene and Jackie Spigarelli, William and Kari Spigarelli, all of Price; Jim and Jimmie Ann Spigarelli, Kemmer, WY; grandchildren: Frank and Michelle Butkovich, Kimberly and Kelli Spigarelli, Kirk and Chasidy Spigarelli, Melissa and Joshua Spigarelli, Michelle and Jessica Spigarelli, MacKenzie and Elizabeth Spigarelli, Haley and Ashley Spigarelli; great-grandchildren: Shayne Burke and Erika Butkovich; sister and spouse, Mary and Paul Clark, East Carbon. Also survived by many other loving, caring relatives and friends.

Funeral service, Saturday, October 18, 1997, 2 p.m. Price Elk's Home. Family will be at Mitchell Funeral Home, Friday evening 7-9 p.m. and Saturday at the Elk's Home, one hour prior to services. Interment: Mt. View Cemetery, Helper, UT
