Death: Jeanne Yveth (Broadbent) Miller

On September 29, 1997, our beloved mother and friend passed from this life to rejoin her eternal companion.

Jeanne Yveth (Broadbent) Miller, our mother, was the lifelong companion and wife of our father, John A. Miller (Sr.), who preceded her through the veil. She was the youngest daughter of, and the last surviving child of James Thomas Broadbent of Santaquin, and Ruby Helen (Fullriede) Broadbent of Eureka.

Born August 15, 1923 in Riverton Utah, she often told us of her childhood growing up on the farm out on the "flats" during the depression years. She married our father in the Salt Lake Temple when she was 18. Dad left several months later to serve in the Navy during the second world war. Her two older brothers, Marden and Gordan, as well as Dad's older brother Bill, were already serving in the Navy. Her first born, John A. Miller (Jr.), was born in 1943. It wasn't until the war ended that she saw her husband again. Mardelayne was born in 1947. William Michael was born in 1954.

She is survived by her children, 13 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. We all will miss her.

She enjoyed writing, drama, and music. She served her church and friends willingly and often. She served in many callings for her beloved church throughout her life. Many of them she loved, but her favorite was as Drama Director for the Covina, CA Stake.

We know she has gone to a better place and look forward to once again seeing her in the future.
