Richard Nixon's daughter to speak at conference

Julie Nixon Eisenhower will keynote the 13th annual Utah Women's Conference Oct. 24.

Hosted by Sen. Orrin Hatch, "Discovering the Diversity and Unity of Women," will feature a range of speakers and issues.Eisenhower, the daughter of former Pres. Richard Nixon, was voted one of the 10 most admired women by Good Housekeeping magazine. She works with the National Adoption Center and Jobs for America's Graduates, which finds jobs for at-risk youth. She is the author of several books and a former editor at the Saturday Evening Post.

Marie Osmond, former television star, businesswoman and co-founder of the Children's Miracle Network, will also address the conference.

Other speakers include Richard Paul Evans, author of "The Christmas Box" and Sue Bender, author of "Plain and Simple."
