Death: Norma Parkin

Norma Grace Webb Webster Parkin, age 93, beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother, Great Great Grandmother, Great Great Great Grandmother passed away October 19, 1997.

Born in Riverton, Utah, June 1, 1904 to Wilford Webb and Ruth Jacklin Webb. She was the 10th child of 12 and the last of her family living.Member of the LDS Church. She served in a number of organizations, Sunday School nursery leader for 20 years; visiting teacher 60 years. Retired from Wedding Reception Center after 14 years. Good will and friendly dance clubs.

Married Charlie E. Webster, May 10 1932 in Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died March 24, 1964. Married Albert Parkin October 10, 1968. He died August 24, 1969. She went to the Jordan High School for three years.

Survived by daughter, Carla and Boyd W. Christensen of Sandy Glade and Lorraine Webster of Sandy; Don and Lola Webster, West Valley; Emery and Kathryn Webster, Brigham City great-great-grandmother of 57; great-great-great-grandmother of one.

Norma always had beautiful flowers in her yard. Nobody left without starts or a bouquet. People said "She had a green thumb" she loved to watch them grow and bloom.

Preceded in death by two sons, Darrel and Verl Webster.

Funeral services will be held Wed., October 22, 1997 at 11 a.m. Memorial Estates Mortuary, 5850 South 900 East where friends may call Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Wednesday one hour prior to services. Interment: Riverton City Cemetery, 13200 So. 1500 West, Riverton.
