Rodman issues an ultimatum

For months, Dennis Rodman said he wanted to stay with the Bulls so much that he would play for free.

Now, he says if the team doesn't make him financially happy by noon Thursday, his Chicago career will be finished."I guess I'm being (a jerk) about it," he said Tuesday, punctuating his comments with typically foul language.

"I've just got to be happy with the situation. I'm not trying to (mess up) the city, (mess up) the players or (mess up) anybody. I want to be happy. Everybody's got to understand . . . negotiating is a business."
