Notebook: It's homecoming. Another loss would be four straight; Utah hasn't lost four straight since Ron McBride's first season (1990).

Watch for: LB Phil Glover playing with a cast or splint after surgery Sunday to repair torn thumb ligaments. WR Jerome Anderson, who filled in admirably for Daniel Jones (ankle sprain) at Oregon (eight catches, 75 yards).

Looking ahead: At Texas Christian, Nov. 1

Notebook: QB Graham Leigh established career highs for pass completions, attempts and yards in three straight games, standing now at 21-36-317. He is No. 12 in the NCAA in pass efficiency rating (147.5).

Watch for: WR Pascal Volz (12th NCAA, 101.4 ypg receiving) tied a school record with three scoring receptions and upped his career high for receptions for a second straight week, catching 10 against Rice.

Series: Utah leads 24-12-2. Last meeting: Utah won 31-24 in 1996.

Notebook: TCU has WAC's second-best 20 takeaways (17 recovered fumbles, 3 interceptions) but Horned Frogs have done little to capitalize on turnovers.

Watch for: Freshman running back LaDainian Tomlinson rushed for 180 yards against Tulsa last week, the most ever by a TCU true freshman.

Watch for: Last week, a versatile Matt Cannon rushed (9 carries for 123 yards and two TDs), received (one catch for 10 yards), punted (twice for 76 yards) and passed (4-of-4 for 82 yards after QB Joe DuPaix was injured).

Notebook: As it prepares to stop the SUU rushing attack (No. 2 in Division I-AA), SWT is allowing just 104 running yards a game this season.

Watch for: All-American running back Claude Mathis averages 127.8 yards a game - even after gaining just 20 yards in 11 carries last week.
