At San Antonio, David Robinson had 22 points and Sean Elliott 17 as the Spurs beat the injury-plagued Mavs.
The Mavericks were without seven players, including five who are expected to be strong contributors. San Antonio led by as many as 47 points in the fourth quarter in cruising to its sixth straight exhibition victory without a loss.

At Minot, N.D., rookie Derek Anderson scored 21 points to lead the Cavaliers. Anderson hit 8-of-10 shots as the Cavs won for the fifth time in six exhibition starts. Vitaly Potapenko added 15 points and Shawn Kemp 11.

At Chicago, Clarence Weatherspoon and Terry Cummings scored 16 points each as the 76ers defeated the Bulls in Chicago's first game without Michael Jordan since he came out of retirement in 1995. Jordan, the league's nine-time scoring leader, will miss the rest of preseason after having several ingrown toenails removed.

At Billings, Mont., Vin Baker and Detlef Schrempf had 20 points each for Seattle. Latrell Sprewell led Golden State with 26 points and Donyell Marshall had 13.
Suns 113, Grizzlies 83
At Vancouver, British Columbia, Antonio McDyess scored 13 of his 27 points in the third quarter as the Suns beat the Grizzlies. The Suns' Jason Kidd had 19 points, 12 assists and 8 rebounds.

At Las Vegas, Elden Campbell scored 33 points to spark the Lakers in overtime. Los Angeles played without Shaquille O'Neal, out at least a week after aggravating a muscle injury in his stomach.
