Death: Erwin Shaw ""Gerry"" Huber

Our loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather passed away at his daughter's home, October 21, 1997 in Park City, Utah.

He was born June 9, 1915 in Vancouver B.C., Canada. He served in the Canadian Armed Forces as an infantry trainer during World War II. He was an executive with the Hilton Hotel company before establishing two successful Winchell's Donut shops, first in Long Beach, California and then he and his wife opened the first Winchell's franchise in Utah in 1968 at its present location in Provo. He later became a principal in a prominent restaurant operation in Provo. He was married June 16, 1943 to the love of his life Eileen May Montgomery who preceded him in death in 1970.He is survived by his two daughters, Diane Sharon Wilson (Alun) of West Chester, Pennsylvania; and Wendy Elaine Jewkes (David) of Park City, Utah; eleven grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday, October 24, 1997, 11 a.m. at the Jeremy Ranch LDS Chapel, 3010 West Saddle Back Road, Park City (Jeremy Ranch), where friends may call one hour prior to services. Interment, East Lawn Cemetery. Funeral directors, Larkin Mortuary.
