A badly decomposed body was found in the cliffs west of the Tuacahn Amphitheater by two teens hiking in the rocky terrain.
Washington County sheriff's officers said Wednesday that the body, which may have been there for several months, has not been identified. The body was found Tuesday night behind a rock near the top of the steep hills, roughly 400 feet above a water tower just west of the Ivins amphitheater parking lot.
Age and sex of the person had not been determined, said Chief Deputy Pete Kuhlmann. The cause of death also was unknown. There were no signs of injury or indications of foul play.
The boys who found the body, ages 16 and 17, were part of an Orem theater group, which was to perform at Tuacahn.
