Ten public hearings have been scheduled to give Utahns a chance to comment on the state's attempt at health-care reform.
The Utah Health Policy Commission is looking for input on Healthprint, Gov. Mike Leavitt's plan for market-based health-care reform.They also invite the public for comments on agenda items for the 1998 Legislature and the new Children's Health Insurance Program, for children of the state's working poor.
The public hearings begin at 7 p.m. and are being held at:
Oct. 28: Salt Lake City, Capitol Office Building auditorium.
Oct. 29: Price, 185 E. Main, Room 207.
Oct. 30: Monticello, 117 S. Main, commission chambers.
Nov. 4: Farmington, 28 S. State, commission chambers.
Nov. 5: Richfield, 250 N. Main, county auditorium.
Nov. 6: St. George, 197 E. Tabernacle, county administration building.
Nov. 12: Provo, 100 E. Center, room L900, county administration.
Nov. 13: Logan, 120 N. 100 West, council chambers.
Nov. 18: Ogden, 2501 Wall Ave., Dumke Room.
Nov. 20: Vernal, 152 E. 100 North, commission chambers.
