Jury rejects N.Y. cop's claim, convicts him of murder

A New York City police officer who shot a man to death in an argument over a parking space was convicted of murder Friday.

Jurors rejected officer Richard D. DiGuglielmo's claim that the victim was about to attack his father with a baseball bat. When the officer heard the verdict, he closed his eyes and hung his head.DiGuglielmo had his bail revoked pending a Dec. 15 sentencing. He could be sentenced to 25 years to life in prison. He was led from the courtroom in handcuffs.
