Death: Charles H. Barndt Sr.

Charles H. Barndt Sr., 68, died peacefully in his sleep.

He was born on August 20, 1929, in Tonapah, Nevada, to Victor and Yvonne Barndt.He served an LDS mission to England. He loved the outdoors, he particularly loved fishing. He was a collector and loved to study ancient artifacts. He was quite an artist and wrote his own music. One of his loves was to be with his family. He will be remembered as one who helped others and gave of himself. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by a son, Charles Barndt Jr., Salt Lake City, UT; daughter, Diane Gibson, Palm Desert, CA; mother, Yvonne Marinos, Salt Lake City, UT; sister, Evelyn Clark, Ogden, UT; and several grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, David Gibson; and daughter, Mary L. Barndt. May he find peace in their arms.

Memorial services will be held on Thursday, October 23, 1997, at 11 a.m. at the Ivins Ward, 1860 South 300 East. Graveside services will follow in Tabiona, UT.
