Death: Charles Garn Cracraft

Charles Garn Cracraft, 90, of Richfield, Utah, died October 26, 1997, at the Utah Valley Regional Medical Center, Provo, Utah.

He was born October 20, 1907, in Monroe, Utah, to Charles Milton and Susan Loretta Hoops Cracraft. He married Ruby Jane Peterson, March 23, 1926. The marriage was solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple, June 10, 1946. She preceded him in death, April 24, 1965. He married Velma Slade Miller, April 7, 1966, in the Manti LDS Temple. She preceded him in death, October 28, 1993.Garn had been employed by Intermountain Farmers for many years. He was active member of the LDS Church and member of the 10th Ward High Priest Group.

He is survived by children, Donna Jean Chalk, Monroe; stepchildren, Melvin and Carol Boyce, Yuma, Ariz; Lorraine and Martin Miller Sorensen, Richfield; David and Gayle Miller, Annabella; Jerry and Gladys Miller, Provo; Lawrence Miller, Salt Lake; 34 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren; sister, Susan Illa Stock.

Preceded in death by parents; wives, Ruby and Velma; son, Garn Jr.; stepdaughter, Evelyn Boyce Andersen; brothers and sisters, Paulla Peacock, Frank Orval, Hazel Mae and Thad Milton.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 29, 1997, at 2 p.m. in the Richfield 10th LDS Ward Chapel, 200 E. Center. Friends may call at the Magleby Mortuary Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and again at the Mortuary Wednesday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Burial will be in the Richfield City Cemetery.
