Death: Marian Boyd Perry

Beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Marian Boyd Perry, passed away Saturday, October 25, 1997 at the age of 87.

Born December 4, 1909, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Fern and Lyda Boyd. Married George W. Perry, Dec. 31, 1936, in Las Vegas, NV. Celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary last December.Marian loved people and loved to garden. She spent many hours per day visiting friends and relatives. She would take them to appointments, shopping or just spend time with them. Her flower gardens were her joy and admired by all who had the good fortune to visit her home. Many of her friends and relatives have gone before her; those remaining will miss her dearly, but have fond and loving memories to comfort them.

Survived by her husband, George, Salt Lake City; son, Boyd (Georgia), Salt Lake City; daughter, Kay (Don) Hokanson, Houston, TX; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by parents and two brothers, Norris and Lorin, and one great-granddaughter, Courtney Jessee.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, October 29, 1997, 11 a.m. at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Friends may call at Larkin Sunset Lawn Mortuary, 2350 East 1300 South, Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m.
