The classic stage thriller, "Wait Until Dark," is being presented Oct. 31-Nov. 17 at the Springville Playhouse, located on the lower level of the Springville Civic Center, 50 S. Main.
Director Mike Cox's cast includes Amber Teresa Heinrich as a victimized blind woman, Richard Beach, Elizabeth C. Linton, James McGregor, Scott Moody and John Gholdston, along with Cox in the role of Mike Talman.The stage version became a hit film in the mid-1960s with Audrey Hepburn in the drama's central role of Suzy Hendrix, who is caught in a drug deal that's gone awry and whose only hope of surviving is to use her blindness as a strength.
Performances will be Fridays, Saturdays and Mondays at 7:30 p.m. Admission is $5 for adults and $4 for students and senior citizens. Tickets may be purchased in advance at the Springville Public Library (main floor of the same building). Seating is limited. Patrons should arrive early.
