Wealthy fan of Liberace selling his memorabilia

A wealthy fan is selling his collection of Liberace memorabilia, including a concert grand piano used for a royal performance and a monogrammed Norwegian silver fox coat.

Entrepreneur Bob Nye, an admirer of the late entertainer, slated those and other items for auction Sunday in Reading, Pa. A local character, Nye used to call himself "The Pennsylvania Dutch Howard Hughes."The piano is a 9-foot monogrammed Baldwin concert grand Liberace played for the British royal family at Albert Hall in London. Nye paid $25,000 for the piano. The fox fur coat also bears the monogram of the performer who died in 1987.

Nye is auctioning off other collectibles as well, including a 1954 London double-decker bus, a 1927 Wurlitzer pipe organ reportedly counted among the largest in the world, and a six-foot, 1,000-pound crystal chandelier.
