Death: Harvey W. Holdeman, Jr. (Buck)

Buck, age 74, passed away Friday, October 3, 1997 in Salt Lake City Utah.

He was born October 28, 1922 in Torrington, Wyoming to Harvey W. and Estelle Thomison. He graduated from high school in Payette, Idaho at the age of 16. After graduation he moved to Echo, Utah where he worked for the railroad and helped his aunt in her service station. He served in the US Navy during World War II. He returned to Echo and graduated from Weber College with honors.He married Ilah Jean Sowell, June 4, 1948 in Echo. They resided in Ogden, Utah for five years then moved to Hooper where he resided for 44 years. He was a member of the LDS Church. He worked in body and fender and air conditioning. Retired from HAFB. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans, American Legion Post 134 and the Eagles Aerie 3355.

He is survived by his wife, Jean, of Hooper; three sons and one daughter, Terrence (Sharlene) of Wendover, Utah; Lynn (Joyce) of Ignacio, Colorado; Greg (Dawn) of Hooper, Utah; and Sydne (Steve) Arave of Sunset, Utah. Also surviving are eight grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday, 1 p.m. at Myers Mortuary in Roy where friends may call Sunday 6-8 p.m. and on Monday 11:45 a.m.-12:45 p.m. Interment, Hooper Cemetery where Military honors will be accorded by the DAV.
