S.L. Chamber receives grant for women's business center

The Salt Lake Area Chamber of Commerce has received a matching grant from the Small Business Administration to fund a women's business center that will be housed at the chamber, 175 E. 400 South.

Ramona Rudert, former senior vice president of operations at the chamber, will be the center director. The center was formerly housed at the Utah Technology Finance Center.The center will assist women business owners with services including counseling, training, loan-packaging, marketing, management, finance and procurement. There also will be a high-tech center where a variety of business software can be accessed.
