KSL move was fact of life

I am getting sick and tired of reading letters from relatives and friends of Chere Wood regarding KSL radio's right to make a business decision and replacing her with Amanda Dickson at morning drive time. I don't personally know either of these ladies so I have no bias on the issue. However, I am a businessman and I respect the right of a business to make decisions which are in the best interest of the business.

Radio and TV stations live or die by ratings; newspapers and magazines by circulation. It's just a fact of life, and a fact of doing business. Those who are employed in these industries know this full well. They know when they enter the media business that ratings are what pay the bills and that their job are subject to change or termination. It's no mystery to them.If you don't like the Chere/Amanda change, fine. But, don't get personal in your comments against someone you don't even know. If you want to change stations, do it. But, please stop crying about something you don't know anything about and let KSL make their business decisions without your help.
