Death: Doris Roberta Barrett

Doris was born on May 17, 1927 in Salt Lake City, Utah, to William R. and Dorlesca May Maxfield Rook. She passed away on October 4, 1997, after enduring a long illness in Sandy, Utah. She will always be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor and great fight for life.

Doris was a member of the LDS Church; and had worked as a telephone operator for 23 years.Survived by three children, five grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and two sisters. Preceded in death by parents, two brothers and a sister.

A special thank-you goes to Aunt Shirley and all the staff at Sandy Regional Health Center for providing such loving care to Doris and support for the family.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, October 10, 1997 in the Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park (Clermont Section), 3401 South Highland Drive where friends may call from 11:45-12:45 p.m. prior to services.

"Do not weep at my grave for I am not there".
