Bush hopes center helps families who face cancer

Former President Bush hopes a new treatment center will give hope to families that - like his own - have had to deal with deadly diseases.

At a ceremony Tuesday for the $30 million MD Anderson Cancer Center Orlando (Fla.), Bush recalled the death of his 4 1/2-year-old daughter, Robin, from leukemia in 1953."We had a child who had cancer," Bush said. "She died. That child would be alive today given research."
