Design Workshop, a landscape architecture and land planning firm with offices in several Western states, has opened an office in Suite 900 at 9 Exchange Place.
It will be managed by Jim Alsup, a Utah native and 1976 graduate of the University of Utah's landscape and architecture program. Kurt Culbertson, president, said the new office was opened to better serve clients in the area including SF Development, Weber State University and Sinclair Oil Co.Design Workshop was founded by Utah natives Don Ensign and Joe Porter. The company has offices in Aspen, Denver and Vail, Colo.; Albuquerque and Santa Fe, N.M., Jackson, Wyo.; Lake Tahoe, Calif., and Sao Paulo, Brazil.
