Angus Edison Gibson, 82, died peacefully in his sleep November 19, 1997 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Born August 1, 1915 in Salt Lake City to Angus Henderson and Rebecca Ann Barkdull Gibson. Married Ruth Kehl June 20, 1936. She died July 20, 1987. Angus retired after 30 years of service as a switchman for Denver Rio Grande Railroad.Survived by two sons Michael Carl (Naomi) and David Edison (Denise) Gibson; grandchildren, Clinton (Miranda), Darin, Cami, and Paris Gibson; sisters Mary E. Ball and Helene L. Pearce. Preceded in death by a brother Robert C. and two sisters Bonnie and Jane. He will be greatly missed by his family who knew him as a kind and gentle man.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m., Friday, November 21, 1997 at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park - Mtn. View Section. Friends may call Friday from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. prior to services at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 Highland Drive.
