He was born November 16, 1949 in Denver, Colorado, to Jesse E. Dennis and Georgia T. Phillips Dennis. He married Eleanor "Lennie" Sanchez, on the first day of the rest of their lives. With love and joy, two sons came, Corey Slade (Michelle) Dennis and Dustin Carmen Dennis. Papa's girl, Ashley Rae and one on the way. With Carmen's two brothers, Eugene J. (Linda, deceased), Dennis and David J. (Rae) Dennis, they learned love, responsibility and values.Words can't describer the feelings of loss from his extended family and friends. All those who knew Carmen will find no other friend quite like him. Although fishing and hunting was a large part of Carmen's life, love and family were overwhelmingly number one. Carmen was employed by US West for over 15 years and a proud member of CWA Local 7704.
"The love of my life has been taken from me. God took him, for what reason I know not yet. There will be a day it will be revealed for me to see. But as my tears fall, and my heart breaks, my love for him is in eternity set."
