Tuesday is Election Day for most Utahns as residents in the state's 230 cities and towns vote for mayors and council members.
A number of special districts and counties also are holding elections. All Salt Lake County residents can vote on a $50 million recreation bond to expand or build 10 new facilities throughout the county. Taxes won't go up with the bond, which will be paid back by an existing special 1/10th-cent sales tax imposed a year ago.
Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. To find out your voting place, call your local city recorder or, if you live in an unincorporated area that's holding a vote, your local county clerk.
Results of the major races can be found in Wednesday editions of the Deseret News or in newspaper's on-line edition (www.desnews.com).
