Salt Lake County is offering free HIV testing on Dec. 1.
County residents 14 and older are eligible for the tests, which will be given at Salt Lake City Public Health Center, 610 S. 200 East from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. in Room 135. No appointment is necessary.More than 1,400 people have been diagnosed with AIDS in Utah and an estimated 2,500 people are estimated to be carrying the HIV virus.
