Our precious mother, sister, grandmother and aunt, Felicita Roybal Tafoya, 84, went to sleep peacefully Saturday evening, November 1, 1997, at Cottonwood Hospital.
Felicita was born March 4, 1913, at El Valle, New Mexico, to Maria Dominguez and Apolonio Roybal.She was preceded in death by husband, Bonifacio; infant daughter, Judy; infant son, Carlos; brothers, Samuel, Juan Antonio, Venzeslode; sister, Bernardita Atencio.
She is survived by sons, Clarence (Lillian), Louis (Jane), David (Dorothy); daughters, Helen Tafoya and Edna Yocum (Freedom); sisters, Prudencia Leyba (Ely), Tucson; Priscilla Cordova (Jose), Denver.
Our mother's pain is gone, but she will be greatly missed by her children, 26 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Wednesday, November 5, 1997, at Goff Mortuary, 8090 South State, where friends may call Tuesday, 6-8 p.m. and Wednesday, one hour prior to services. Interment, West Jordan City Cemetery.
