Vickie Lynn Stumph, born to Joseph and LoLita Stumph on August 15, 1966, in Ogden, died November 1, 1997.

Graduated from Taylorsville High. Member LDS Church.Today I returned to my Heavenly Home; a new adventure has begun. I go not alone, for the many loved ones who took this journey before me embrace me now: my brother, Martin Joe; my grandma and grandpa Stevens; my favorite uncle, Harold; and many other aunts, uncles and friends. Don't mourn for me, for I am now dancing and running. My body is no longer able to hold me back.

I lived a rich and joyful life! My involvement with the Utah Jesters, MDA, Harley Bikers, Utah Firefighters, and the Taylorsville Garden 3rd Singles Ward has brought into my life so many good times and so many, many good friends. I was surrounded always by my family: Joe and LoLita Stumph, my loving father and mother; my sisters, Becky (Paul) Manwaring, Jodie (Brad) Wirth, and brother, David (Cynthia) Stumph; my nieces, who are my best friends, Jamie and Heather Farnsworth, Amber and Misty Wirth, and my nephews, Michael Wirth and Jackson and Cody Stumph; Grandma Martha Crews and Grandpa Joe Stumph and Bea; and many other special friends.

To all of you I leave my love and faith in our Savior. I take with me my memories of your love and compassion and the many good times we shared. Cheer for me and BYU!

Funeral services will be Wednesday, 12 noon, at Taylorsville 10th Ward, 5000 South 1950 West. Friends may call Tuesday, 6-8 p.m., at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, and Wednesday at the church, one hour prior to services. Interment: Valley View Memorial Park.
