Garciaparra hit .306 for the Red Sox with 30 homers, 98 RBIs, 122 runs and 22 steals.CORDERO PLEADS GUILTY: In an unexpected move, former Red Sox outfielder Wilfredo Cordero pleaded guilty to beating and threatening his wife.

He received a 90-day sentence, suspended for two years, and must attend regular batterer's counseling sessions.
